If you'd told us three years ago we were going to spend our lives cooking and eating amazing plant-based food, we wouldn't have believed you. We were a couple of mates from Sheffield who ate meat every single week.

Now we run BOSH!, the biggest plant-based online channel in the world. Our food creations were viewed by half a billion people in our first year and

our most popular recipe videos have been viewed over 50 million times. We never expected to have that kind of success, and it has been humbling.

'I was the one to first cut out animal products.'

Ian

'I mocked Ian when he went vegan, and asked him where he'd get his protein from. But eventually he won me over. That and the whole saving the world by not eating mass-produced animal products thing.'

Henry

After cutting out animal products entirely, both of us felt fantastic. But we had to re-learn how to cook and find food when we were out and about. We also found that the vegan food available in restaurants or in cookbooks was often, frankly, not very good.

Since then, it's been our life's mission to show people how to make delicious plant-based meals. However often they choose to do that.

We cook, drink and film delicious recipes for the world, all from our home studio in East London.

I just received this book and have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. It does not disappoint! I read other reviews where people said there were too many ingredients and too many steps to make things you could just buy at the store. If you are looking for quick meals, I would suggest speedy bosh where they give you tons of shortcuts to get meals out quick. This book is based on saving money, not time. And the best way to save money on amazing meals is to make everything from scratch. That’s the approach of this book. Make your breads and doughs, make your spice mixes and sauces. If you don’t have that time, there’s no shame in using a store bought curry or spice mix. Even if you opt out of those- this book is still worth it! The crepes looks awesome and I cannot wait to try the Turkish pizzas, ratatouille rice bake, froccacia and fresh pasta, and Swedish meatballs. I think this was another home run!

This is an amazing recipe/cook book. I bought it initially for the lemon cake recipe as I love the bought lemon cake. But I have since purchased 4. One for 2 of my friends and another for my daughter who is moving home and wanted a quick and easy 'go to' for some healthy meals that incorporate lots of fruits and veggies. My daughter and friends are not vegan and you can add chicken or regular meat products in place of tofu and vegetarian sausages etc. So basically it's a book for veggies, vegans and meat eaters. It shows you how to make simple ingredients into wonderful meals and is a good way to eat more fruit and veg and try out some vegan recipes too.
Iv always cooked from scratch and don't buy many processed foods but I was in a bit of a rut with what I ate. This book has made me excited about cooking again.

Ok, so I bought this as over spent at Christmas and thought this might reduce our food bill. It hasn’t. Tried five recipes, all delicious and will make again, but it really is not ‘budget’ food. If you want a cheap weekly shop I’d recommend ‘five ingredient vegan’ over this, if you want a decent vegan cookbook then I’d say ‘Bosh on a budget’ is pretty good.
