A guide to making life a little more fabulous

A few months ago, I happened to find some Halloween linzer cookie cutters (those cookies that look like sandwiches, but with a shape cut out of the top part) while I was shopping for something else.

As much as I hate to admit it, we can’t live on sugar alone.

When Toby and I went to visit my BFF Melissa in Toronto over Christmas break, we walked by a super cute bakery that, unfortunately, was closed.

I am home now, but I started this post in a Starbucks in Columbus, Ga.

Those of you who know me in real life would probably guess that my favorite drink is a margarita.

Whether you pronounce it pee-can or puh-kahn, I love pecan pie.

I like a deal as much as the next girl, but getting up in the middle of the night to stand in line in the cold is SO not my thing.

I totally meant to post these BEFORE the Army-Navy game.

I can’t remember exactly how I found out about the Food Blogger Cookie Swap, but as soon as I read about it, I was in.

Maybe you’re trying to eat more greens and fewer holiday cookies.

I started taking ballet when I was 2 years old, and my mom started taking me to see The Nutcracker every year not too long after.

Remember when I told you that my mom and I think Bobby Flay is trying to kill us? This is one of the reasons we came to that conclusion.

Happy 2012! I apologize for my sporadic posting during the past month or so.

So, here’s the thing: I hate salads.

When I told y’all I was a picky child, you probably thought I meant that I would only eat, like, chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, Cheerios and PB&J sandwiches, right? Because that’s what a normal picky child eats.

Beans and rice: healthy, cheap, easy, filling… and kinda boring, right? But it doesn’t have to be.
