It was Little S’s 6th Birthday yesterday – she had been looking forward to it for ages (I think that when she started counting down the days there were almost 100 to go!).
All children seem to take cakes into school on their birthday, it adds to the excitement of the day and lets the whole class join in the celebration – my girls (due to a restricted diet) hard…
So here it is, the birthday cake for Little S’s birthday party – the theme was penguins.
For D’s birthday I thought I’d make him something homemade among his presents.
So here is Little S’s Birthday cake from this year – she loves the TV program “Strictly Come Dancing” and really wanted that as the theme for her party.
Did I mention that I got the best birthday present ever?? My lovely other half bought me the most gorgeous shiny raspberry pink KitchenAid.
It’s the start of birthday season in this household – we all have Autumn birthdays and so it’s a frantic run up to Christmas filled with various celebrations.
