Hope you're loving the Mommy & Me Homemade Spa Day Series! I've had a blast making it for you. The next-to-last last DIY project is Lavender & Honey Shea Soap! Kids love fun shaped, colored, and scented soap, and it's much easier to create your own than you might have thought. Just a few simple ingredients and you can create shaped soap bars that your child will love! These shaped soap bars are natural, moisturizing, and the lavender is great as part of your bedtime routine to relax and calm little minds (mom loves this soap too!) After the mixture comes off the stove this is a fun project for little ones to get involved in. My daughter loves to add in color, stir and pop the finished soaps from the molds. We like to make them as party favors or fill a mason jar with them for a unique birthday gift.
A hostess gift is traditional during the holidays; It's a way to show appreciation for your host's hard work. The traditional gifts are usually ones to help with the hosting duties or for the guests, but what about after? I'll show you how to make the DIY Lavender Bath Salts I used in this one and I even created some pretty tags for you to print out!

This morning I was fueled with hot chocolate infused with dried lavender. This lavender hot chocolate is so simple and easy to make. Lavender Hot Chocolate with Himalayan Salt For this lavender hot chocolate, I use 70% dark chocolate bar and I don’t add any cocoa powder. You can use any dark chocolate or your choices. Ingredients 500 ml full-fat milk 150 gr good quality dark chocolate (70%) 1 tsp dried lavender Himalayan pink salt or sea salt Sugar, optional Method Chopped dark chocolate roughly, set aside. Pour the milk into a large pan, add dried lavender and stir to combine. Bring milk to simmer over a medium heat. Turn off the heat and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Strain the milk and discard the dried lavender. Bring back the milk to simmer, whisk in chopped dark chocolate and sugar. Cook until all the dark chocolate melted, whisking frequently. Pour the lavender hot chocolate mixture into a cup and give a pinch of Himalayan pink salt or another sea salt. Serve immediately, add more sugar or honey if needed.
