Ammini kozhukattai is a south indian dish. It is made in Tamil Nadu cuisine where different kinds of kozhukottai are popular. It can be served as a snack or
This recipe was cooked for us by some dear friends from Rhodes, when they visited us right before COVID kicked off and changed our lives! As a chef and his partner, they fed us a selection of tasty treats during their stay - but this was our ultimate favourite, and one I just had to ask them for the recipe for. They are very generous, and shared the recipe with us in a heartbeat. My thanks to them, always! Lasagna (or Lasagne is correct, I think, in the UK and Europe) is heart-warming comfort food at the best of times. But this veggie-based spinach lasagna recipe, using the iron-packed and healthy spinach in place of mince, and the addition of that mouth-watering lime, makes this dish a whole different ball game! You still have that ultimate comfort dish - but with a twist. You know you’ve knocked it out of the park when the whole table goes quiet after that first mouthful, silently savouring the wonderful flavour explosion happening in their mouths! A healthy spinach lasagna is great to have in your repertoire as a veggie - but this lime-infused one is all the more special. We didn’t even have the fooodlove site back when they made this recipe for us - but it’s the best spinach lasagne recipe I’ve ever tried, and one I simply HAD to share with you guys onsite! I hope you adore it as much as we do.
If you know anybody who has traveled to Sicily the first thing they will probably tell you is to taste their Arancini (rice balls).. Sicilian

Today is the U.S. Marine Corps’ 236th birthday — a day of ceremonies, parades, balls and lots of bad sheet cake all over the world. We are going to our Marine Corps ball tonight (where I’m sure the dry cake will still be better than whatever they serve us for dinner), but I wanted to [...]
A few years ago, I decided it would be a great idea to make bourbon balls for tailgating at the Georgia-Kentucky football game. Toby wasn’t home, so I found a recipe online — epicurious.com or foodnetwork.com, can’t remember which — and followed it. The resulting bourbon balls tasted gross and looked completely disgusting. It was [...]
It has been far, far too long since I posted a cake recipe, y’all. But today I’m going to remedy that with a doozy — an easy three-layer banana-coconut cake with simple, perfect chocolate frosting, toasted coconut and chocolate ganache. A-maze-balls. And tomorrow? Chocolate mint brownies for St. Patrick’s Day. Party! You’ll need a [...]
I just made these creamy tomato curry meatballs for dinner last week and they were phenomenal! A little bit spicy (or not, to your taste), a lot creamy, and such a difference from a traditional tomato-based meatball sauce. I got the idea for these from an Indian restaurant staple that I adore: Curried Lamb Balls. But since lamb is not something that I can just pick up from the grocery store in my area, I had to make some substitutions; I used shortcut ingredients and a quickie sauce base that will get these on the table in no time! Since these are not exactly a low-cal choice, I tried to balance it out by serving with a seven whole grain rice and some steamed veggies. You can make sub sandwiches with these, serve them over egg noodles or rice, or add in a sneaky veggie like Cauliflower; The options are endless!
I can't believe that Christmas is over! We made it through, but the holiday season isn't finished yet; New Year's is coming, and I wanted to make some delicious treats to help my family and friends celebrate the changing of the year with us. I tried out these Savory Mini Cheese Balls from Kraft, and they will be the perfect accompaniment to my party spread.

I have a delicious recipe for you today: potato balls. The potatoes are crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, and can be stuffed with a variety of flavors. Talk about comfort food! These are stuffed with a bold and savory South American-inspired ground beef mix, but you can use ground turkey or chicken if you like. You can spice it up with diced peppers or tone it down to fit your tastes, and they are amazing served with sour cream and salsa or a sriracha mayo. Enjoy!
Is there anything better than taking time away from the daily grind to make fun vacation memories with your family? A family vacation can be relaxing, but unfortunately, paying for it is not always so relaxing. The good news is there are some easy ways to save money. Whether you vacation during the off season, choose to cook your meals, or choose an all-inclusive resort option, you can get rock-bottom pricing on your family vacation and still have a ball.
With a husband who is a sports fanatic, I have a ball (womp, womp) coming up with ways to make game days more delicious. With the 2017 soccer tournaments coming up, I couldn't wait to dive into some international fare. With Modelo as the official beer of the Beautiful Game, I thought elotes would be the perfect pairing.
I've got an easy recipe today that's sure to wow your cheese-loving holiday guests! It's a 3-tier Cheese Ball Tower and making it is super-simple because I'm using pre-made cheese balls paired with my own toppings. For my tiers, I've paired the sharp cheddar with nutty pecans, port wine with sweet and tart dried cherries, and the smoky bacon with crunchy almonds. I also made some cute cheese ball pinecones to decorate the tray with and I'll show you how to make it all + how to enter to win a Visa gift card in the post below!
