These chicken kebabs are not only low-calorie and light, but they are also a great prep-ahead dish as an easy, family and friend’s get-together dish. The tikka masala yoghurt marinade tenderises and flavours the chicken, plus gives a nice finish once they are grilled for 20 minutes together with the peppers, onions and pineapple.A yoghurt-tikka masala sauce is served with the kebabs, as well plenty of sides from either rice, naans or tortillas, salad, refreshing cucumber and tomato slices.

This super easy salad dressing recipe is especially good on a Greek salad, cucumber salad or Asian Chicken salad and you can make it right in the bottle if you only have a little bit of Sriracha left.
Asian cucumber salad is one of the most popular easy salad recipes in the different subcontinents of Asia. It is easy to make, delicious and bursting with refreshing flavours. This crunchy asian cucumber salad is the amalgamation of thin-sliced English cucumber, red peppers, onion, garlic, olive oil, soya sauce, rice vinegar, honey, chilli flakes, sesame seeds and some seasonings. It is mostly served as a side with grilled fish or meat or with tostadas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and even with rice or noodles.

This one-pan dinner of perfectly roasted chicken thighs with a winter panzanella salad is comfort food at its very best. The chicken thighs are roasted over wedges of fennel and red onion, torn kale leaves, chunks of baguette (which toast up in the oven) and lemon wedges (which turn caramelized and sweet), imparting flavor to the chicken (and vice versa). The vegetables and bread are then tossed with a roasted garlic vinaigrette to make an irresistible salad to accompany the chicken. Heaven! For a gluten-free version, use a small gluten-free baguette, such as Udi’s brand (half of a 8.4-ounce package).

Torch Ginger, Kecombrang, Honje, Wild Ginger, Bunga Kantan, Wild Ginger…whatever the name, this exotic flower is another valuable ingredient in Indonesian kitchen. The long stemmed bud of torch ginger flower looks like a spear with sweet floral fragrance & a hint of ginger aroma. You can use the buds for zest up curries (Gule Kuta-Kuta or Karonese Chicken Curry) or stews ( Arsik Ikan or Stewed Spiced Fish from North Sumatra). Sliced or shredded the buds and add it to salad ( Seasonal Market Vegetables with Peanut Sauce), or make Balinese Sambal Matah. So, here’s the thing: I hate salads. Not all salads. Bean salad, pasta salad and fruit salad that doesn’t include cantaloupe or honeydew are fine. But I really don’t like raw leaves. And I despise cucumbers. So that eliminates the vast majority of salads. Unfortunately for me, though, raw leaves are a lot healthier than, [...]

This is the ULTIMATE roast chicken dinner! Chicken pieces are baked until golden and crispy in a vibrant lemon marinade that does double duty as a sauce. With only 35 minutes of cooking time, it’s quick enough for weeknights, but elegant enough for special occasions. You’ll need a quartered chicken for this recipe, or you can use 4 bone-in chicken pieces (see the Tips below). The sauce will turn quite dark as it cooks, but don’t worry, those dark bits give it incredible flavor. Serve this chicken alongside homemade grits, creamy mashed potatoes and/or a simple green salad (see above for more serving ideas). If you’re anything like me, you’ll want some crusty bread on hand to mop up the lemon sauce!

Eggs, zucchini and lemon seem a strange combination but believe me, once you have made this tortilla it will certainly come on the table more often. In combination with the cheese and the herbs you ensure a true taste bomb. I serve this tortilla as a side dish or you can serve it together with a delicious tomato-avocado salad.
